Successful start to the year at trade fairs and roadshows

Darmstadt, March 2017 - The darmstadtium has already been on several Germany-wide trade fairs and roadshows in February.

The FAMAB Sustainability Summit 2017 has already been named a "milestone for the industry" – the event was seen as a huge success in all regards, receiving positive feedback across all levels and disciplines. The darmstadtium was also represented, with Head of Marketing Michael Cordt participating as a speaker. Mr. Cordt is now returning to Darmstadt inspired and full of ideas.

The theme of sustainability is nothing new but the time when it was a hype is long gone. We now have to take things to the next level, we need to deepen our understanding of the theme and look at it in greater detail and from different angles. After all, sustainability goes beyond environmental thinking and initial approaches. Social and economic aspects are becoming increasingly relevant. As part of his presentation at the FAMAB Sustainability Summit, Michael Cordt drew the following conclusion: "Sustainability is a holistic concept that can only be tackled together with our partners, such as our environmental partner Entega. We can drive the theme forward together – after all, sustainability never reaches a status quo but is rather evolving continuously."

Further inspiration at the Munich roadshow

Just two weeks after the FAMAB Sustainability Summit in Dortmund, the darmstadtium team enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at the Destination Roadshow in Munich. Brimming with inspiration and ideas from the Sustainability Summit, the darmstadtium presented its many facets at the event: Alongside the congress centre’s USPs relating to IT, connectivity, location, ease of access and multifunctional rooms, sustainability played a crucial role. The darmstadtium is rarely mentioned without the addition of "Sustainable Meetings", and it is therefore often known in this context by agencies and corporate clients from the Munich area with whom we have already worked, as well as our new contacts. This meant we were able to exploit promising potential at the Munich roadshow and enjoy interesting and inspiring meetings.
